他的丈夫Elvis Costello扮演了重要的角色
專輯中有重新翻唱夫婿在94年的作品Almost Blue
也有一半的歌是兩人一起譜寫的
像是專輯同名歌曲The Girl in the Other Room

此次Diana Krall沒有延續爵士樂的標準方式
但卻提及的他比較個人私密的情感部份
雖然和以往的專輯比較起來
